By using automated 鈥渟moke detector鈥 infrastructure introduced by the Build Integrity Team, the team was able to automatically identify two major issues during part of an Operation Flight Program release.
In computer programming and software testing, smoke testing or 鈥渃onfidence testing鈥 validates interfaces earlier in the development lifecycle when the software is pulled together for the first time. This ensures everything is in the right place, with the appropriate dependencies, right from the start.听
